(VIDEO): Alex Ovechkin takes a hard slapshot right in the nuts!

Washington Capitals head coach Barry Trotz has been preaching defence recently and it appears that Alexander Ovechkin is determined to follow his coaches orders. Unfortunately, playing defence can sometimes be painful. Ovechkin was playing deep in his own zone on Sunday evening against the Boston Bruins and paid the price for it. Bruins defenseman Torey Krug had an open shot from the point, Capitals forward Tom Wilson and defenseman Tim Gleason didn't exactly get into a good position to block the shot, though they tried. Ovechkin, meanwhile, was casually standing in front of the Capitals' net. He never saw it coming.
