There's never been a question about how much talent is inside of Alexander Semin, only question regarding his effort. On Monday night he once again demonstrated that his issue lies in his effort level, not his talent level when he showed off just how brilliant he can be with the puck. With his team down three goals to the Buffalo Sabres Semin found himself in a 2 on 1 situation and decided to keep the puck. He proceeded to completely undress Buffalo goalie Andres Lindback with a display of some truly dirty hands before tucking the puck in behind him for a beautiful goal. If only he could show some consistency in this regard.
