VIDEO: Andrew Desjardins destroys Luke Gradzic

This is why you have to keep your head up at all times in the NHL. In Tuesday night's game between the San jose Sharks and Edmonton Oilers, Oilers forward Luke Gradzic learned that the hard way. As he picks up the puck in San Jose's zone he turns up to try and get to the net, the only problem is that he does not see Andrew Desjardins skating in on him with a full head of steam. He absolutely destroys Gradzic with a clean shoulder to shoulder check and takes Gradzic out of the play. Gradzic takes exception and goes after Desjardins afterwards. Luckily for San Jose they have a guy named John Scot on the ice. What a hit!
