Colorado Avalanche forward Nathan MacKinnon has been playing a very reckless brand of hockey this season. You can no longer say MacKinnon is playing the game squeaky clean. After receiving criticism for a hit from behind he put on Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Luke Schenn earlier in the season, Mackinnon will surely be receiving a call from the Department of Player Safety for this savage elbow to the head of Jets forward Mathieu Perrault.
