(VIDEO): Ben Scrivens throws a body check on Marchand in OT!

You would think that a Wednesday night game between the Boston Bruins and Edmonton Oilers would would be a little one-sided. Realistically, beating a lowly Oilers squad without Taylor Hall should be a cakewalk for Boston. Well that was not the case this time around as fans got treated to a very competitive battle between the two teams. This was a crazy game that took a 12 round shootout to be decided. It was Edmonton that came away with two points as they prevailed 4-3. There was even a incident that occurred in overtime that you are not likely to ever see again. As bruins forward Brad Marchand raced towards a loose puck in Edmonton's zone, Oilers goaltender Ben Scrivens began racing towards Marchand in the hope of reaching the puck first. Marchand is there first, but Scrivens prevents him from capitalizing on the scoring opportunity by throwing a body check on Marchand. He effectively takes Marchand out of the play, by any means necessary. This may very well have been a game saving hit. All I can say is wow.
