There was a crazy sequence at the end of Overtime during  Monday's game versus the Chicago Blackhawks and Arizona Coyotes, as the Blackhawks thought they scored not once, but twice in the same play. Blackhawks forward Andrew Shaw took a shot on Coyotes goaltender Mike Smith, who deflected it up in the air and along the goal line. The puck trickles across the goal-line before Mike Smith manages to get a piece of it and appears to keep the puck out. The play was ruled no-goal on the ice, and that decision was upheld after a lengthy video review. Here's the explanation from the situation room: At 5:00 of overtime in the Arizona Coyotes/Chicago Blackhawks game, the Situation Room initiated a video review to further examine a play at the Arizona net. Video review confirmed that the rebound from Andrew Shaw's shot at 4:44 did not cross the Arizona goal line. No goal Chicago. Coyotes forward Antoine Vermette scored the winner in the shootout and the Blackhawks went home feeling a little robbed. Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville was objective after the game: "Replays you could argue, you could argue, you could argue again tomorrow," he said. "Awfully close. Couldn't get any closer." What a crazy sequence! [iframe id=""]
