(VIDEO): Blackhawks goaltending prospect makes incredible stick save!

You may not be aware of the existence of former Islanders goaltender Anders Nilsson, and no one would blame you. The 24-year-old’s NHL rights were traded to the Chicago Blackhawks from the Islanders as part of the Nick Leddy trade on Oct. 4. Well Nilsson was putting on a show last night in the KHL, as he made some incredible saves in a losing effort. Nilsson currently plays for the KHL’s Ak-Bars Kazan, who faced of against Metallurg Magnitogorsk last night. Bars eventually lost by a score of 3-1, but none of the blame could have been put on Nilsson as he kept his team in the game with some incredible saves. None were better than this one as he robs Metallurg's Oscar Oskala with the paddle of his stick while contorting his body. He is then in perfect position to stop a huge blast from Chris Lee. All we can say is what a save!
