(VIDEO): Brendan Smith gets sucker punched!

If you're going to fight in hockey, it's an unwritten rule that you do so like a man. Fighting in hockey is respectable as long as it is done the right way. Not like the way Islanders forward Matt Martin does. Martin tried to pick a fight with Brendan Smith in Sunday night's game against the Detroit Red Wings. He starts yapping and the two platers exchange words. Then Martin flat out sucker punches Smith right in the face, without warning. It's plays like this that make certain people think hockey is barbaric. As long as there is some order to it, it can and will remain a necessary part of the game.
