(VIDEO): Brooks Orpik takes a skate and a beer to the face!

Brooks Orpik is one tough customer. No player payed more dearly for the Washington Capitals 2-1 overtime victory over the New York Islanders on Tuesday than Orpik, who had to dodge skates and beverages for the win. Orpik was the accidental recipient of teammate John Carlson's skate to the face during the first period of the game. The skate clipped his cheek and he skated immediately to the locker room. After some repairs he returned to the game in the second period like a true hockey warrior. But it didn't end there. Following Nicklas Backstrom's winner, which came 11:09 into overtime, one Isles' fan decided to leave Orpik with a parting gift. A cold one right to the face. Which begs the question, who's nursing a beer that late into a game anyway?
