Brad Marchand is undoubtedly one of the most hated men in the NHL, and it's because of plays like this one. During the Thursday night match up between the Bruins and Red Wings Marchand nailed Detroit’s Jonathan Ericsson below the belt with his stick. There's really no way to justify hitting another man in the nuts, especially not when you're wielding a hockey stick as a weapon. Marchand was given a penalty on the play, as he should have been, and likely has gained even more haters than he had before.
