This is the last thing any Vancouver Canucks fan wants to see. In a potentially big blow to the club, forward Nick Bonino suffered a distressing injury while representing the U.S.A at the World Championships in the Czech Republic. In a game against Slovakia, Bonino crashed hard into the Slovakian goal and struck his arm against the goalpost. He immediately skated to the bench and was clutching his right arm all the way back to the locker room. He was not on the bench to start the third period. The 27-year-old is coming off a 15-goal, 39-point season in Vancouver, his first with the Canucks. Hopefully it is not as serious as it looked. Here is the injury:
