VIDEO: Canucks player falls unconscious on the bench.

There was a scary moment in last night's game between the Vancouver Canucks and the Calgary Flames. Canucks forward Jannik Hansen lost consciousness on the bench after being hit with a big check from Flames defenceman Dennis Wideman. Hansen looked winded as he skated back to the bench. He sits down but collapses moments after.The entire Canucks bench immediately told referees to stop the play. Team doctors rushed to aid Hansen and he eventually was able to walk back to the locker room under his own power. Hansen was taken to a nearby hospital as a precaution. The Canucks expect Hansen to be alright. What was good to see was how quickly he was attended to. You could tell they were taking no chances.
