(VIDEO): Cedric Paquette obliterates Alec Martinez with a crushing hit!

Great hits come and go, but man are they ever fun to watch. On Saturday night the Los Angeles Kings took on the Tampa Bay Lightning in a physical affair. Unfortunately for the Kings it appears that they may be without the services of defenceman Alec Martinez for some time. Martinez suffered an upper-body injury after being utterly annihilated against the boards by Lightning forward Cedric Paquette. Martinez chases down the puck and sends it around the boards, from in back of Jonathan Quick. He clears the zone, but not before Paquette lays a massive check on Martinez, sending him flying. His head appears to strike the glass hard and he left the game following the hit. He did not return. Definitely one of the hardest hits of the season thus far.
