A great player is not defined in moments of glory, but rather in moments of extreme adversity. With a massive slump from the Penguins, and the risk of missing the post season, the Penguins most elite player, Captain Sidney Crosby, stepped up in a big way. Say what you will about Crosby being soft, there was no doubting his leadership on this play. Just 10 seconds into the very first period against the equally desperate Ottawa Senators squad, Captain Crosby put the Penguins on the board with a go ahead goal.
