The SHL (Swedish Hockey League) is quickly becoming one of the most exciting hockey leagues in the entire world. It seems that on a weekly basis there are amazing and sometimes brutal clips coming out of the SHL. This next clip is definitely the latter of the two. During one of their regular season games, a devastating hit was delivered by Skellefteå forward Par Lindholm on former NHLer Christian Backman. He runs the shoulder right into Backman's face and Backman is out before he even falls on the ice. The huge hit left Backman completely out cold on the ice. It also left with multiple stitches and a grade 3 concussion. This is how he looked after the game. Brutal.
