The hit that Evander Kane laid on Anaheim Ducks defenseman Clayton Stoner on Sunday has earned him a two game suspension. The NHL Department of Player Safety determined the hit was illegal. Kane was assessed a five-minute major and a game misconduct for the hit. He had to fight off a few Ducks following the hit as well.
