VIDEO: Goalie suspended for kicking crease crasher with his skate!

Goaltender interference is beginning to become one of the most talked about topics in hockey. Where should the calls be made? What defines "incidental contact"? It has certainly led to it's fair share of negated goals and pissed off goaltenders. Chicoutimi Sagueneens goalie Storm Phaneuf however took his anger way too far last Sunday when he kicked Voltigeurs forward Dylan Montcalm in the chest with his skate after Montcalm crashed the net. For QMJHL’s director of player safety, Raymond Bolduc the play warranted heavy discipline as Phaneuf has been suspended a whopping 9 games for the kick. Luckily no one was seriously injured on the play.
