The Charlotte Checkers were hosting the Norfolk Admirals this week. As many teams do in the AHL, the local team invites fans to ride on the Zamboni during intermission as part of some contest. It’s somewhat the thrill of a lifetime... But the winner on Tuesday night, turned his ride into a chance to become an internet star! He decided to take a nap while during his time on the ice! This short Youtube clip, a fan caught flies as the ice was resurfaced. The Checkers PR team said after the game that the man was obviously messing around, simulating the whole ride.
