National Hockey League players put their bodies on the line every time they step out on to the ice, but that goes up to a different level in the postseason.

In Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals, Pittsburgh Penguins forward Patric Hornqvist made a huge sacrifice for his team, blocking a shot directed at his goal and deflecting it with his head. Obviously he was shaken up on the play.

While Hornqvist obviously did not predict the shot would strike him in the head, he has blocked a number of shots this postseason, and there's always that risk, but he dove down for that shot without a second thought, a true playoff warrior.
