Video: Huge hit knocks him old cold during tonight's NHL games.

For the second time this year Mikhail Gabrovski was left laying on the ice after taking a huge hit. During Thursday night's NHL game between the New York Islanders and Nashville Predators, Predator's forward Eric Nystrom absolutely destroyed Gabrovski with a thunderous hit that left Gabrovski unconscious. The hit occurred during the first period, and for a while it seemed like Gabrovski would need to be stretchered out of the game, in fact a stretcher was brought out, but he eventually skated under his own power. It was eerily similar to a play earlier this year where John Scott landed a big hit on Gabrovski that also resulted in an injury. No penalty was assessed on the play and it did not appear to be a dirty hit. You can judge for yourself by watching the video below.
