(VIDEO): Kris Versteeg slams face-first into goal post.

The referees on the ice must be blind. Making a surprise start for the Chicago Blackhawks in place of Bryan Bickell, Versteeg met Ben Bishop's post head-on after being tossed through the Tampa Bay Lightning crease. Amazingly, Versteeg was penalized for goaltender interference on the play. The Blackhawks managed to kill off the ensuing Lightning power-play, but the fact he received a penalty at all is a complete travesty. I wonder if the NHL grabs anyone off the street who owns a pair of skates and let's them ref games.
