In the days leading up to the NHL Draft Lottery, it seemed like Toronto Maple Leafs fans had their hearts and minds set on the fact they were going to get generational talent Connor McDavid. Even though there was a 90% chance that they wouldn't manage, Leafs fans were pumped to bring him to Toronto. But when the announcement was officially made and it sunk in that the Leafs rebuild would not be accelerated, the fans reacted exactly how you'd expect. This group of Leafs fans have some choice words for the NHL and it's lottery choice.
