VIDEO: Leafs' Holzer Punches a Referee in the Face.

In the heat of a fight, friendly fire is not unheard of. Although this may be the first time in a long time you see a referee take such a powerful shot to the face. The Maple Leafs Korbinian Holzer and Capitals Tom Wilson engage in fisticuffs, with the fight ending fairly quickly in favour of Wilson. Holzer has his shirt pulled over his head and does not realize the referees have stepped in to stop the bout. He hits one of the referees blindly, right in the face! NBC's Pro Hockey Talk caught up with Holzer after the game. “I had my jersey in my face and I just threw one punch, accidentally hit the linesman. It was not on purpose. I’m sorry for that.”
