Apparently the NHL isn't the only place where referees screw the pooch. In Finland's World Championship game against Russia on Tuesday, Leo Komarov was assessed a five-minute major and game misconduct for kneeing on what was clearly an innocent and incidental collision with Russian defenseman Yevgeni Medvedev. Komarov was chasing the puck when he and Medvedev collided knees, albeit barely. Medvedev left the game, but was able to return for the second period. You have to be kidding me.
