(VIDEO): Linesman suffers gruesome injury after collision.

You never like to see injuries like this whether it be to a player or an official. During Ak Bars 1-0 overtime win against Sibir in KHL playoff action on Thursday, one of the linesman officiating the game went down to a brutal looking leg injury. He collides with a falling player along the boards and it appears as though the player hits him right in the side of the knee with a lot of speed. After contact the linesman's leg buckles underneath him and he looks to be in a fair amount of agony as he clutches his knee. He needed help from the other officials to get to the dressing room. These types of injuries are almost always as serious as they look. We hope he will be able to recover.
