Once a dirtbag, always a dirtbag. Minnesota Wild forward Matt Cooke has made a reputation for himself as a dirty player by injuring multiple player, even ending some player's careers. He was up to his old tricks in Game 4 of the Wild's matchup against the Chicago Blackhawks as he managed not one, but two dirty plays in the same game. The first one came when Cooke tried to lay a hit on Blackhawks defenseman Niklas Hjalmarsson. Hjalmarsson saw the hit coming and managed to move out of the way only to have Cooke stick his knee out and clip him on the leg. Hjalmarsson managed to avoid injury on the play. The second came shortly after the first with Cooke chasing down Hawks' forward Marian Hossa and giving him a few cross-checks and slashes along the way. It goes to show that Cooke is not the "changed man" he claims he is.
