VIDEO: Monahan plays hero, gives the Flames a two point lead in the playoff race.

The Flames have been overachieving all season long, in large part thanks to their younger players. On Tuesday night that trend continued, this time with Sean Monahan playing hero against the Arizona Coyotes. With thje Los Angeles Kings nipping at their heals the Flames were in desperate need of two points to hold of the Kings who many expected to easily handle the Edmonton Oilers. Sean Monahan went all out when he used a beautiful move followed by a beautiful shot to score the game winning goal, lifting the Flames over the Coyotes and securing those very important points. As an added bonus the Oilers managed to upset the Kings giving the Flames a two point cushion over the Kings. [embed][/embed]
