If you're like me and the New York Islanders vs. the San Jose Sharks wasn't at the top of your must watch list last you may have missed the most punishing hit of this young season thus far. The San Jose Shark's John Scott absolutely destroyed Mikhail Grabovski in the very first period of the contest, leaving Grabovski out cold on the ice after he was blind sided by Scott. Scott despite his reputation appeared to lay a clean hit on Grabovski, the injury seemed to stem more from Grabovski's head smacking the ice rather than the actual hit from Scott who did not target the head. Hopefully this teaches Grabovski to keep his head up, his Islanders took the win 4-3 in the shootout.
