Every once in a while, there are happenings in the world that truly rock us to the core. The shootings in Paris this week were an example of how tragic the world can be sometimes. Twenty people lost their lives in three day killing spree in the attacks. It was only fitting that the Montreal Canadiens, who are based in french speaking Quebec, chose to honour the victims of this senseless violence before Saturday night's game against the Pittsburgh Penguins. Although sports are one way for people to unite and and stand together, tragedies like this one supercede the games we watch. It was a very classy move on the part of the Habs, and proved that although it is just a game, it can shed light on issues around the globe. [iframe id=""]
