What could possibly be better than a beauty goal, followed by a great assist, finished off by an epic fight. Pavel Datsyuk succeeded in recording a Gordie Howe Hat Trick on October 8th, 2010 in the most impressive fashion possible. He gives the Red Wings an insurance goal, then feeds Dan Cleary for another. But he was not done there, not by a longshot. After a scrum ensues, the officials are so busy trying to get the two teams under control that no one notices the 5'11/195 pound Datsyuk drop the gloves with heavyweight Corey Perry (6'3/215 lbs). Datsyuk goes at Perry fearlessly, despite a huge reach discrepancy. He lands numerous good shots on Perry and eventually takes the big guy down. What a player!
