(VIDEO): Plekanec gets laid out, retaliates like a boss!

After a star player gets hit, there is usually some retaliatory action taken. However, it is usually not the star player that does the retaliating. Tomas Plekanec was his own enforcer today when the Habs took on the Washington Capitals in a rare early tilt. It all starts when Plekanec gets crushed down the middle of the ice by the Capitals Tom Wilson. He gets laid out in open ice but manages to pop right back up. But that's not all, as the play continues Plekanec sets his eyes on Wilson and as the whistle blows he lays a beautiful hip-check on Wilson, sending him airborne. You know that old saying, if you want something done right, do it yourself.
