The latest player who may have to defend himself in front of the NHL's Board of Player Safety is Carl Soderberg for his hit on Matt Calvert in the second period of last night's game against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Soderberg caught Calvert with his head down and delivered a big hit of which the principle point of contact appeared to be Calvert's head.
