(VIDEO): Prospect throws puck into own net for the game winning goal!

The hockey gods were not on this players side. In an NCAA hockey game between North Dakota and Denver, Nick Schmaltz of North Dakota (drafted 20th overall by the Blackhawks in 2014) came skating down the wing and made a beauty move on the defenceman, only to be denied by the goalie. Luckily for him, however, Denver defenceman Josiah Didier (a 4th round pick of the Canadiens in 2011) tries to grab the puck in midair, only to accidentally swat it into his own net for the game winning goal.
