VIDEO: Referee suffers gruesome looking injury in collision.

A KHL referee suffered a gruesome looking injury on Thursday. The injury occurred when a battle along the boards led to a player crashing into the official, which in itself wouldn't be that bad. However the player hit the referee as he was falling and the point of impact were the referee's legs. The result of that impact was the referee's leg buckling under his weight and that of the player in a horrific looking fashion, needless to say he spent several moments down on the ice in obvious pain.
