This is one goal the Pittsburgh Penguins will likely be sour about for some time to come. Blue Jackets forward Scott Hartnell extended his team's lead to 4-2 with a controversial goal on Saturday against the Penguins. After a giveaway by a Penguins defender, there is a scrum in front of Penguins goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury, as everybody searches for the loose puck. The puck is barely visible as it is sitting beside Fleury's left arm and the Penguins expect a whistle as they believed Fleury had smothered the puck. The whistle never came and Hartnell jams the puck in with one last effort. Despite objections by captain Sidney Crosby, who seemed visibly upset, the goal stood making it 4-2 Jackets. The game ended by a score of 5-3 in favour of Columbus. Was this the right call or should there have been a whistle on the play? [iframe id=""]
