VIDEO: Shot almost takes Jaro Halak's head off!

It definitely takes nerves of steel to be a NHL goaltender. Some players can shoot the puck over 100 MPH and goalies are stuck having to use their bodies to stop those bullets. Just crazy! New York Islanders goaltender Jaroslav Halak certainly knows how to stop a puck, but on this occasion he is stuck using his head to block an enormous shot from New Jersey Devils Eric Gelinas. It knocks Halak's mask clear off his head and play comes to a halt. Way to use your head Jaro!
