This might come to you as a total surprise, but there's a professional hockey league in France! The "Ligue Magnus" is the national French hockey championship, it was created in 1907. That's 10 years before the official foundation of the NHL in 1917! The league counts 14 teams and most former NHL draft picks and players such as Marc-André Thinel, Éric Chouinard, Guillaume Lefebvre, former Oilers defenseman Sébastien Bisaillon and goaltender Jean-Sébastien Aubin. But the guy who brings you here is Vladimir Hiadlovsky, a 35-years-old goalie from Banska Bystrica, in Slovakia. He has played in France since 2001-02 and his part of the Strasbourg "Étoiles Noires" (Black Stars) This week-end, Hiadlovsky showed that despites his age, he still got incredible athletics skills with this save! At first, he seemed to get beaten by Vikhael To-Landry, winger of the Brest Albatros, but the Slovakian netminder manage to stop the puck with an unreal scorpion-save!
