VIDEO: Steve Mason channels his inner Ron Hextall.

Steve Mason seemed to channel his inner Ron Hextall tonight when his Philadelphia Flyers took on the New York Islanders. Mason took a swing at the Islanders John Tavares after he was understandably upset at Tavares actions in his crease. After Mason had secured the puck, Tavares took a swing at Mason's glove hand with his stick, in what seemed like a pretty solid slash. Mason decided he was having none of it and a scrum quickly formed around the net. One has to wonder if the Flyers' general manager hasn't been rubbing off on his number one goaltender.
