Both Brian Elliot and Roberto Luongo were killing it in Sunday night's matchup between the St. Louis Blues and Florida Panthers. It was a close knit affair all the way through, thanks in large part to the spectacular goaltending at both ends of the ice. Luongo was the sole reason for the scoreless tie through 20 minutes. Blues forward David Backes had a glorious chance to open the scoring off a rebound in close, but Luongo denied him with the glove in spectacular fashion. He then made another highlight reel-worthy stop late in the opening frame, robbing Vladimir Tarasenko with the right pad in the final minute. The Blues held on for a 2-1 shootout victory thanks in large part to Elliott's 40 saves. What a crazy display of goaltending prowess.
