There were a couple of very happy people at the Bell Center tonight as the Arizona Coyotes beat the Montreal Canadiens 3-2 on Sunday. Among the crowd of disappointed Habs were the parents of Coyotes goaltender Louis Domingue, who earned his first career win.
The 22-year-old Arizona Coyotes netminder is from Saint-Hyacinthe, a town located just east of Montreal, so he was fortunate to make his NHL debut in a road game against the Montreal Canadiens, with his family cheering him on from the stands.
The reaction by Domingue's mother after the intensely fought game was great to see. As a hockey parent, you can nly dream of a moment like this one.
