Drafted way back in 1998 and passed over 170 times before being selected 171st overall by the Detroit Red Wings, Pavel Datsyuk has throughout his career been one of the best players in the NHL He is without a doubt one of the NHL's elite, despite a slow start in his first two seasons Datsyuk had tremendous mentors like Yzerman and Federov to help groom him, and he has turned into a point a game player over his 13 year NHL career.
