VIDEO: Vicious hit knocks Keith Ballard out cold!

This is something you never like to see happen to any athlete. As Matt Martin and Keith Ballard connect on a hit, Ballard appears to go headfirst into the boards. He goes in face first and lays motionless for a few seconds. He begins to writhe in pain on the ice as the medical staff attends to him. Hopefully Ballard did not suffer a serious injury on the play. The strangest thing is that Martin did not look like he was trying to hit Ballard on the play. These are just freakishly weird plays that happen from time to time. What do you fans think? Is it an accident or a hit from behind?
