The Boston Bruins hosted the Patrick Roy-coached Colorado Avalanche at the TD Garden for a rare Monday afternoon game. The Avalanche opened the scoring with a goal from Jamie McGinn. Colorado’s Dennis Everberg went to the bench due to a 2min penalty for Too Many Men on The Ice, sending the B’s power play unit to the game.
