James Reimer makes his first start, and the Toronto Maple Leafs earned their first victory of the 2014-15 campaign, by beating the New York Rangers 6-3. It was way too soon to press on the panic button after only 2 of 82 games played, but as is tradition in Toronto, and dare I say Canada, the panic button had been slammed on a few times already. Well, our Leafs sure know how to calm their fans down. They had had trouble scoring. They had trouble with the Power Play. Last night at New York’s Madison Square Garden, all that came to an end. The Leafs went on a scoring rampage in the 2nd period, scoring 5 quick goals on none other than “King” Henrik Lundqvist.
