Chris Stewart doesn't back down, and keeps his promises. After being traded to the Minnesota Wild prior to the trade deadline, Stewart said he was intent on sticking it to the Central Division rival St. Louis Blues, a club he suited up with for 200 games earlier in his career. The Blues traded Stewart and goaltender Jaroslav Halak to the rebuilding Buffalo Sabres last March in the deal that brought netminder Ryan Miller and forward Steve Ott to St. Louis. The Sabres traded Stewart to the Wild on March 2 for a 2017 second-round draft pick. He made good on that promise during the first period of Saturday's tilt between the two clubs, sliding the puck past Brian Elliott on this breakaway opportunity. [iframe id=""]
