VIDEOS: 1 period, 3 brawls, 100 penalty minutes!

The Tampa Bay Lightning really took it to the lowly Buffalo Sabres by a score of 5-0 on Thursday night. Although there was a beatdown on the scoreboard, in the final ten minutes of the game there was a a total of three brawls between the two teams resulting in a few fights and over 100 penalty minutes dished out. It was reminiscent of old time hockey, where one team tried to salvage some pride and the other defend their stars from the rough stuff. One particular surprise was current All-Star vote leader Zemgus Girgensons of the Sabres. Who knew this guy could throw bombs like that.
