You don’t keep your head up in the NHL, you may be in for a bad day. That’s what David Backes learned the hard way in first round of 2014 playoffs. At the hands of Brent Seabrook no less. In the second game of the series, Backes goes into the corner to retrieve a loose puck and takes his eyes off his surroundings, just long enough to give Seabrook an opening. What results is a crushing hit on the part of Seabrook, and Backes trying to find his legs like an infant giraffe. Enjoy!
