Watch: Kadri and Backes drop the gloves

Hated rivals Toronto and Boston faced off tonight for the first time this season.

Nazim Kadri and David Backes decided to get in the spirit by dropping the gloves. Backes is new to the rivalry but is quickly getting into it and wasted little time to get it started as they fought only 2:16 into the first period.

The two players have their physical sides but don't often drop the gloves since they are relied upon for their offensive skills. It was a pretty energetic fight and definitely got the Leafs going who are currently leading the Bruins 3-1
