Watch: Sidney Crosby records his 1.000th career point.

The face of the National Hockey League has hit a massive career milestone.

On Thursday night Pittsburgh Penguins star Sidney Crosby outworked the Winnipeg Jets to gain possession of the puck in the Jets zone,something he eventually achieved. 

He then waited about half a second before finding the open man, teammate Chris Kunitz, who buried the puck allowing Corsby to pick up the assists on the play and his 1,000th career point in the process.
