Most brutal goal of the season?

This is has to be one of the most brutal goals of the season so far, if it's not the worst.

On Wednesday night New York Rangers forward Mika Zibanejad picked up his 11th goal of the regular season courtesy of a gift from Carolina Hurricanes goaltender Scott Darling who seemed to be asleep in his net at the time of the goal.

Zibanejad sent a seemingly harmless shot floating through the air from center ice, and when Darling attempted to catch the puck with his glove he somehow not only failed to grab it, but knocked it into his own net in the process.

Darling's body language after the puck when in tells you everything you need to know about how embarrassing this was for the veteran goaltender. He knows, just as well as everyone watching this play knows, that you can't let that one go in at the National Hockey League level.
